CAKE ARTIST (DECORATOR) FULL TIME

Currently, there are 2 openings for "Full Time" cake artists (decorators).

For individuals considering a career as a cake artist with us, here's an overview of the position:

Our full-time cake artists maintain a schedule of 5 working days per week. Typically, the hours are 8am to 5pm. Your days off will be either Sundays and Mondays or Sundays and Tuesdays.

To prioritize work-life balance, you will not be assigned to work evenings, Sundays, or holidays.

Your primary responsibility will be to decorate a wide range of cakes, from simple, all-occasion designs to intricate wedding cakes.

Furthermore, you will be an integral part of a team comprising six other cake artists, featuring a diverse skill set, from novices to seasoned professionals with advanced expertise. It's the perfect fit for those who like working as a team or by themselves.

It is often remarked that the experience gained as a cake decorator at The Cake Gallery equips individuals with the skills to excel in cake artistry anywhere in the country.

This role is particularly suited for candidates with prior experience as a cake artist in established cake boutiques, single or multi-unit bakeries, grocery store bakeries, or home-based bakeries.

If you possess artistic flair but currently lack experience as a cake decorator, we are prepared to provide training for individuals who demonstrate creativity and passion. If this describes you, please indicate your interest in the last question of the application.

Depending on knowledge, experience, and pace, you are able to earn $15 to $21 per hour.
